There are currently 9,258 photos galleries and a total of 1678 videos. These consist of 695 original movies and 983 curated movies. Photos display in a variety of sizes. The videos are available to view in MP4 format and can be streamed or downloaded. They display in 1080p High Definition at 1920x1080(6000K). The site is updated three times a week.
It’s not often that you get to review a site that is so old that you were barely aware of the internet when it was first formed. Wasteland is such a site, formed back in 1994, and what they haven’t covered on their site when it comes to BDSM and bondage content, isn’t really worth knowing.
They are a pretty big organization and outfit now when all things are considered and the sheer range of content impressed me far more than their admittedly large collection of content. It’s funny though that despite being probably the most comprehensive site in this genre that you will find, still remains something of an unknown quantity to some people.
The quality of the content is largely excellent although some might not be particularly enamored with the amount of content shot at parties or indeed the amount of general content that isn’t really ‘adult’. But the experimentation and scope of their vision is undeniable and this is genuine BDSM content by people who know exactly what they are doing – always the most important point when it comes to content like this.
User Interface
The presentation and user interface of the site is very much improved since our last review. There are menu items to navigate to any part of the sites content you are looking for such as Original Movies, Curated Movies, Full Length Films, New Photo Galleries, Photo Galleries Archives, Stories and Audio Stories.
There is also a Cinema mode option for the movies that allow you to stream the movies at full screen mode and dims the lights to enhance your viewing experience. They do advertise that content is updated 3 times a week but content is not dated.
Conclusion
Wasteland is certainly approaching being untouchable as regards the quality, breadth, and sheer scope of its content in this BDSM genre that it absolutely excels at. The site continues to grow, and the video quality keeps getting better too. This site knows exactly what it is trying to do and it has been doing it for well over two decades.
